Rick Perry on why North Korea targets Texas
According to Texas Gov. Rick Perry, North Korea’s threats directed at Austin could just be another form of flattery.
“Economically, what has happened in Texas over the course of the last decade has made this city an epicenter for a lot of technology, a lot of economic development,” the Republican said in an interview posted on cbs.com on Wednesday. “And I think the individuals in North Korea understand that Austin, Texas, is now a very important city in America, as do corporate CEOs and other people who are moving here in record numbers.”
Reports last week featured images of what appeared to be the American cities North Korea views as targets, a list that includes Austin.”
But why Austin?
The literal answer, and literal target, is South Korea’s Samsung Electronics Co.’s Samsung Austin Semiconductor (SAS) manufacturing facility, located on Austin’s north side. However, pinpointing the hometown of this facility is agitprop excess, for it tells us that the North Korean regime is aware of its own immense and tragic failure. Moreover, the thugs are ashamed.
North Korea’s real target, which the literal target represents, is South Korea’s demonstrable success. Samsung and a hundred other South Korean enterprises with global reputations and reach demonstrate South Korea economic power and organizational strength. North Korea, a Communist Workers’ Paradise, is a starving prison state, and its leaders are profoundly embarrassed.
When asked about his apparent lack of knowledge of the location of one of South Koreas largest semiconductor manufacturers Fabs being located in Austin, TX and why that might be the city might be a target he replied, “That’s another example of how subversive knowledge is taught by liberals to our kids in school and how dangerous it can be to our society. My next representative to the Texas State Board of Education will ensure that such specific information will be eliminated from High School Geography Texts so, in the future, that kind of information cannot be used by our enemies in order to target us with Nukular Weapons”. When the reporter said “But Governor, any 8 year old Texan Child can find that kind of information using the internet”. The Governor replied, “That’s obviously due to the fact that that particular 8 year didn’t go to a proper Texas school that taught Creationism and is contaminated by the need for ‘Critical Thinking’”. The reporters head then exploded into flames
